The panto

Yesterday i went to a pantomime which which turned out to be Aladdin. It starts in a Chinese town called peking where quite a few people are introduced including Aladdin who plays a funny trick on Susie (who runs a bath house) that involves pepper pastilles. In fact here is the exact dialogue .

Aladdin: You look tired.
Susie: That's because i have been fetching water all morning for Princess Jasmine's bath.
Aladdin : Here, this might help
Susie: Mmm fruit pastilles , my favorite
Aladdin: actually... they're pepper pastilles!
Susie: agggghh!!

Also if you saw someone trying to steal something off the washing line you had to yell "Quackers" at the top of your voice and quackers the duck would appear and give the thief a good slap on the bum. i really enjoyed myself

The Animorph book series

A few days ago i went to the library and found an interesting book series about a group of people who have special suits allowing them to morph into animals that they have acquired the DNA of. Another thing is that they can only stay in the guise of a certain animal for two hours without being stuck that way. Their main intention ,though, is fighting aliens called Yeerks which are disgusting green-grey slugs. I'd
better not tell you what they can do to humans because it's completely disgusting.
The first of the series that i read was called The Extreme in which the Animorph group find out that the Yeerks have a secret base some where on earth . In the end they destroy the arctic base by morphing into polar bears and charging about like crazy!
They are good books and i recommend them!

My day at the kelvin grove

Yesterday when we went to the kelvin grove I helped us get there by reading the signs and keeping the driver of the minibus on track. Some of the things that we did when we got there was taking photographs, having a look about and learning stuff by reading the information panels and using the touch screens.
I learned about the story of the last great auk , the different styles of art and Charles Rennie Mackintosh design. My favorite things were: The Christ St John on the cross by Salvador Dali , The tiger and the spitfire. I had a really good day!

Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery

Yesterday I went to the Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery in Glasgow. Here are some photos.

Yesterday we went to the Allan Gibbon house where we met some of my parents friends including a fourteen year old boy called Alasdair D who has spray paints. So while my dad was fixing the computer and my mum was talking about animals, Alasdair and I went off and entertained ourselves with the paints .I found a way to make the writing look spooky ; you just get really close and spray.There is a really good cap for the paints , called the gold cap , which is very good because it is very quick and large. Eventually we had to stop because we were both feeling dizzy because of the fumes.I enjoyed it and thanked Alasdair for showing me his spray paints.

halloween

Yesterday it was Halloween! When i went Trick or Treating, i dressed up as a devil with an overflowing sweet bucket! Also our house was decorated so much that it looked like a dungeon!Here are the names of some of the decorations

The best place that we went to lootwise was old Jean Pilboroughs.
The best place that we went to (scarewise) was Ted's house. What gave us a scare happened while we were searching through a bucket full of leaves for sweets when suddenly there was a loud BANG! It turned out Ted had been hiding with a huge bundle of newspapers which he dropped ,causing the bang. I think it was spooky and good. I really enjoyed Halloween!

My Mums Birthday

Yesterday it was my mums birthday! I woke her up with a song of "Happy Birthday".
For presents she got Mint leaves, bangles,a book of wordplay , a big bar of
Cadbury chocolate and lots of shampoo and soap from Lush. Her cake was a quadruple layer chocolate fudge cake stuck together with chocolate icing.

Another thing that i did was making myself dinner(a baked potato) for the for the first time! It was an enjoyable day (especially for mum.)

Cubs

Yesterday i went to cubs for the first time! it was exciting because it was a chance to make new friends. Also it was a special night because signed photos from famous people like Daniel Radcliffe were arriving! Another thing that we did was making clay people. We ended up with a hundred and five of them! I really enjoyed myself!!

my research

today i did some research on magnetism using iron filings , toy magnets and paper. i noticed that the chains of filings distorted into lines that showed where magnetism was present. when i used two magnets the iron filings distorted into the shape magnetic force is in when two magnets stick together.

A strange dream

one night there was a hurricane, that was threatening to destroy Scotland. it dispersed in the morning revealing a jewel encrusted cloud from which a sound like
" BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" came. (That's Bowser's laugh. If you're wondering what Bowser looks like, then i will tell you : He is a giant tortoise with a spiky green shell and a yellow belly.) On that day i released Mario with my conscience inside him. Then i found a Star (a small five pointed star except extremely powerful) and used it to do in Bowsers flying castle!

Todays work

Today for work I have done drawing,music, photography and blogging. For drawing I drew imaginary planes. For music I practised music that I had written. For photography I made a comic. Currently I am doing blogging. I really enjoyed work today!

todays work

today i did slightly more work than i usually do, which is good. for work i have done writing,drawing, bike riding ,maths and now i am doing my last task. my favourite task so far was drawing. i was drawing a mischievous puppy and i am almost finished. i also did a book review.

worlds smallest kite

a few days ago i got the worlds smallest kite as a free gift on a magazine! it is FUN to fly and it has a leopard patterning. it also creates an illusion which makes it look like a big kite far away.

The Kittens

Yesterday we went to dalry sanctuary and we saw two cute Kittens called Tigtigs and Mist. (I think Tigtigs should be renamed to Chaos.)I played with them for a while and they started slipping on each other!!!!! by the way Mist has a habit of licking people. she also looks like Tokyo.They are very nice kittens. i had a lot of fun playing with them.!!!!!

game rental

recently me and dad have decided to start renting games for the wii.we are renting games from a company called Boomerang. so far we have rented Rampage Total Destruction and Wario Ware Smooth Moves. i am having a lot of fun with these games! also a wee while ago i got two charging stations so that we can charge the wii remotes when they need it.

on my birthday i got a Nintendo wii .i think the reason why is because i educated myself very well. i have had very good progress on all of the wii games. in wii play i have got two silver medals and three bronze medals. in wii sports i am currently the unbeaten champion of everything except bowling. i guess we'll see later .in Zelda i have 2/3 of the fused shadows and i am reviving a third and last light spirit. i have never had a better present! my favourite game is zelda.
i forgot to add that i also got a volcano kit and a crystal growing kit for my birthday.

a whole week ago it was my birthday which was , frankly , the best day of my life yet.

in the morning of my birthday i had a bath with some gelli baff in it(it was stupendously gooey)in the afternoon we had the cake(which was shaped like a Nintendo wii.)

The Toa Nuva were searching for the other Toa when they found some strange people sitting on a rock.

A Poem

a poem i wrote this morning. i got the inspiration from a series of books called the redwall chronicles.

Proud Redwall
You stand high
when the enemy is near
you do not fall
o' proud Redwall
your walls so strong
the attacks they prolong
"charge!" shouted martin
the redwallers poured forth
the enemy gulped in fear
the young wondered
what tales would they hear ?

Final Fantasy 8

Currently me mum and dad are playing a computer game called final fantasy 8. in it you are a mercenary and your job is to fight the evil sorceress who is plotting to take over the world. She's not the only enemy though. there's galbadia too (an evil empire which the sorceress is in control of.)Lastly there is Seifer( the sorceresses personal guard) In battle you can use magic as well as summon a GF (a spirit which attacks the enemy.)you can also take magic from the enemy or heal the others in battle.

yesterday me,dad and a Friend went to stoke on-trent to pick up a kayak.
on the way there dad bought a big coffee and our Friend bought a cup of tea which was in a cup which was so big you could wear it as a hat!
when we were on the motorway me and dad played spot the Eddie Stobart lorry!
the people we picked up the kayak from were so posh they had automatically opening gates!
on the way back we stopped at a service station and bought some Tangfastics.
Being a Passenger on a motor way is both frightening and fun.
