Behemoth the moth!

Remember when i posted about my Elephant Hawkmoth Caterpillar? If you do then you may want to know that Behemoth has grown up into a moth and flown away! It came out of the soil a couple of evenings ago and its wings made the weirdest sound when they hit off the plastic.The cheeky moth flew away without a backwards glance(Probably because it didn't remember its caterpillarhood.)Below is a picture of him.(Yes he's the pink thing)


It took it 8 months 7 days to go from being a caterpillar to being a moth.That's quite some time.It was amazing to see him hatch and take flight. Hopefully the one that i got after behemoth will come out soon.
